Since 2022, in collaboration with The City of Charleston and The LENS Foundation of Charleston, we have been building an initiative that goes beyond recreation-it's about changing lives, shaping leaders, and strengthening communities.

Here's a brief outline of how the summer will run:

 

April 1 — Registration Opens

May 1 — Registration Closes

May 7 — Mandatory Meeting for all participants 

June 6 — Summer Celebration Tip-off 

June 9 – Aug 1 — Regular Season game schedule showing all four game days (Tue/Wed/Thu/Sat at 6:30–9:30 PM) plus the rain makeup days (Mon & Fri)

August 15 — FLIP DAY All Star Games (6:00–10:00 PM)

This year, the season for our basketball program tips off on Saturday, June 6, 2026 for a  celebration to start the summer off right.

Official games for the summer begin on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and will run through Saturday, August 1, 2026. During this period, games will be held weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM plus the rain makeup days (Mon & Fri). All games will be held on Mall Park Playground.

To honor Flip Day —proclaimed in 2023 by former Mayor Tecklenburg in recognition of Delonza "Flip" Simmons, we'll be hosting All-Star Games at Mall Park Playground on August 16, 2025.
This year we are expecting 400+ players to register. In addition to the players, we expect to reach over 2,500 people this summer.

Registration fee:

$100 per Youth Player 

$100 per Adult Player
